La Càmara mara is participating in a project to increase the rice sector competitiveness

Càmara Arrossera del Montsià participates in a cooperation project for innovation and for the realization of innovative pilot projects, approved by Order ARP/133/2017, of 21 June, and convened by Resolution ARP/1531/2019, May 28th.

Under the title Organic production of rice in areas with natural limitations such as the Ebro Delta, the main objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of the rice sector in the organic production of rice in areas with natural limitations.

This project is coordinated by Prodelta and has the participation of IRTA (Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology) as a technology center and the company AgroServeisCat.

The total budget is € 200,000, of which € 79,800 will be funded by the Ministry of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda, € 60,200 by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development of the EU (EAFRD) and the rest with own financing of the members of the Operative Group.

Project funded through Operation 16.01.01 (Cooperation for Innovation), through the Rural Development Program of Catalonia 2014-2020.
